| | The Peninsula Italian American Social Club (PIASC) is a private Italian-American club
with a membership of approximately 800, most of whom reside in San
Mateo County. The PIASC has been in operation since the 1930's and has
been located at 100 North B Street in San Mateo since 1940.
To be eligible for membership, one must be of Italian descent
(regular member) or be married to a spouse who is of
Italian descent (social member). Social members cannot hold office.
There are four member designations:
- Regular
- Social
- Senior
- Honorary
Membership applications can be obtained by calling the Club
office at (650) 343-7981. A valid application requires the
signature of two sponsors. Once the application is received
and it is deemed complete, it will be forwarded to the membership committee
for review. Membership is currently open, however we do have
a waiting list.
Membership dues are $100 per year and there is a one-time
initiation fee of $300.
