I want to thank chairperson Barbara Kuehn and her committee for a wonderful and successful Scholarship Foundation Dinner-Dance on April 9. This event involved a lot of work but Barbara and her committee made sure it was not only successful, but also exciting and enjoyable for everyone attending. From the beautiful decorations (with the fresh roses from Maria Levy), to the delicious food, the exciting raffle, silent auction, and the great music for dancing by the Ron Zucca Band, the entire evening was magnificent.

I invite you to enjoy a wonderful afternoon with your family at the PIASC on Mother’s Day, May 8. On that day, we will hold our annual Mother’s Day Dinner to honor our mothers and to celebrate Mother’s Day. Co-chairpersons are Cliff and Terri Goodwine and Frank and Franca Benvenuto. These chairpersons, as well as charismatic George Campi and his accordion, will make sure that everyone has a good time.

On May 14 we will celebrate Venetian customs and culture at the PIASC annual Venetian Night Dinner-Dance. This event is chaired by a true Venetian couple, Guido and Letizia Freschet, who are hard at work preparing for this special event. Enjoy a special menu, decorations, bottled wine, and the lively music of the Steve Balich Band.

Mark you calendar also for Saturday, June 4, for the annual Festa dei Cacciatori Dinner-Dance. The evening will feature exquisite authentic Italian cuisine, wine, dessert, and beautiful dancing music by the Steve Balich Band. The complete price for this package for members and guests is only $25 per person. Chairpersons are Remo Giuntoli and Angelo Fanucchi.
