Members
and friends: hurry and buy your tickets for the always-popular Toscana
Night Dinner Dance on Saturday, September 11th. Chairpersons Angelo
and Angie Fanucchi are working on decorating the Club to give that
feel of a summer dinner in the beautiful Tuscan country-side.
The
menu, beginning with a fantastic antipasto and pasta, includes your
choice of prime rib or chicken Da Vinci. Come and dance the night
away to the music of Tom Serafini’s “Espresso Five”. Tickets are
$35 for members and $40 for guests. |

BOCCE

Bruno
Freschet Memorial Bocce Ball Tournament will be on Sunday, September
26th. This event will take place at the bocce ball courts at Beresford
Park, located at 2720 Alameda
de las Pulgas, San Mateo.
The tournament will be open rules, round robin, four players per
team and each team must include at least one woman. The tournament
is limited to the first 24 paid teams.
Prizes
consist of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams, and are cash and
individual trophies. The 1st and 2nd players’ names will be engraved
on the perpetual trophies. Lunch will be served at the Peninsula
Italian American Social Club. For more information see the bocce
