Western Night at the PIASC was a huge success.  Chairpersons Steven and Danae Valentone and their committee did a super job, and everyone had a wonderful time.  Thank you to Steven, Danae, and to your committee. Thank you also to chefs Norman and Paul,  Larry Parenti  and Steven Silvestrini on the barbecue, Joe Lencioni, the comedian, and everyone else, including the Ron Zucca Band, which provided great music for the event.

After the Club Picnic this Sunday, August 24, the next major Club event will be Toscana Night, on Saturday, September 13. Chairpersons Angelo and Angie Fanucchi promise a great  evening of beautiful dancing, good food, and lots of fun, the Toscana way.  This will be followed on Saturday, October 11, by our Columbus  Day Italian-American Heritage Celebration in Redwood City  at 12-3 PM and by our Genovese Night Dinner-Dance, at the beautiful PIASC facilities in San Mateo, beginning with cocktails at 6:00 PM. Chairpersons for the two events on October 11 are Terry Anderlini and Ubaldo  Siboldi, respectively.  A great time is promised for all who attend.   Please request your tickets early for both events.

I want to extend a warm  welcome to the new members  who joined the Club  at the last dinner meeting on August 12.  It is a pleasure to have you as fellow-members, and I look forward  to your participation in some of our upcoming events.
