Many thanks to Remo Giuntoli and Angelo Fanucchi and their committee for their hard work on Festa dei Cacciatore.  Attended by a sellout crowd, this festa turned out to be a very exciting and different event. The guest chefs produced some great cuisine, the raffle was very successful, and the Steve Balich Band pleased the dancers and the lovers of fine Italian music after the dinner. Thanks also to all the people who donated the meat, the items for the raffle, and the other items for the dinner, including the biscotti and the home made wine. The entire evening was just wonderful. 

Please attend the Festa Italiana della Peninsula street fair on July 27, Western Night at the PIASC on August 22 and the Club Picnic on August 24. The street fair is brought to us by chairman John Giosso and his committee, benefiting the various programs for developmentally challenged children and adults.  Western Night at the PIASC on Friday August 22, will be chaired by Joe Lencioni and the Club Picnic at Flood Park in Menlo Park on Sunday, August 24, will be chaired by  Mike Martinelli.  Details will be in the next Pensogram.

As we approach July 4^th, let us acknowledge the greatness of this country and the many contributions of our forefathers.  We are very proud to be Italian-Americans.
