Thank you Romolo and Angela Cappello for another outstanding Sicilian
Night Dinner Dance on November 9. We not only had a sellout crowd
once again, but the entire evening was just wonderful. Plenty of
good food, nice decorations, efficient service, and great dancing
music all contributed to a very successful event. It¹s amazing that
everything worked out so well, despite a two day power outage just
before the event. Thank you again, Romolo and Angela, as well as
the members of your committee, for a very beautiful event. As usual,
December will be a very busy month. Our Workers Party on December
1 will be followed by the Children’s Christmas Party, Italian-American
Women’s
Guild and Italian-American Citizens Club Christmas Dinner-Dances,
other non-Club events, and finally, our gala Dinner-Dance on New
Year’s Eve. Chaired again by the popular and multi-talented couple,
Agnese and Peter Marcheschi, this final event promises to be the
most spectacular event of the year. As usual, the event is already
sold out.
Please
join us for our last general dinner meeting of the year on December
10 and to vote for your favorite candidates. Thank you for the honor
of serving as president once again in 2003. Congratulations to all
the candidates who have been elected by acclamation. Good luck to
the rest of the candidates. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Let
us give thanks at this time of the year for all our blessings and
let us also remember in our prayers those who are ill or less fortunate.
