We have been asked to publicize that the region of Tuscany is offering two young people the opportunity to spend a month in Siena or Viareggio next year studying the Italian language and culture. Chairpersons Peter and Agnese Marcheschi are planning a very elegant affair for this New Year¹s Eve at the Peninsula Social Club. This year’s music will be by the Lou Roselli Band. Tickets will be on sale through Dec. 1 for members only (no tickets will be sold prior to Dec. 1 for guests). Beginning on Dec. 1 members will be allowed to purchase, on a first come first serve basis up to two guest tickets until the event is sold out. Price for tickets will be $140 per couple for members and $180 per couple for guests. Refer to the flyer for your reservation.

The Peninsula Social Club invites its membership to bring their children and grandchildren to the Annual Children¹s Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 8th, at noon. A family style lunch of spaghetti and meat balls, salad, garlic bread, wine and beverages will be served at noon. The children¹s program begins at 1 PM. The price for the lunch is Adults, $12, Children, 8 to 12 years, $5, and Children under 8 years, Free. Send in the flyer with the information on how many are coming to the lunch. Deadline is Monday, Nov. 11th. We will collect for the lunch at the door and tickets will be issued. Tickets will be required for the lunch.

As mentioned in the October Pensogram, the Peninsula Social Club is offering members the opportunity (1) to advertise in the Pensogram and (2) for a modest fee, advertise in the new Peninsula Social Club membership roster, about to be printed. Beginning in January 2003, the Peninsula Social Club will publish and distribute with the Pensogram a business directory, where members can let other members know what business or service they are involved in. We will simply list the member’s name, type of business or

service, name of business if applicable, and telephone number. Please send this information to the Club, attention Secretary, as soon as possible. We will not include you in the directory unless you ask us to do so. Again, it is free, and published twice a year. Regarding the advertising in the 2003 membership roster, the cost of an ad in $25 for a business card ad, $100 for a half page ad, and $200 for a full page ad. If interested, please send us your ad and a check payable to Peninsula Social Club as soon as possible.
