The PSC’s Western Night Dinner/Dance, chaired by Joe Lencioni,
had great attendance and was a stellar event. There was great
BBQ steaks, a great all around dinner, and a lot of fun for everyone.
I would like to thank Joe Lencioni and his committee for a
super job.
Chairman, Mike Martinelli, and his committee are getting ready for
the PSC’s Picnic on Sunday, August 25, at Flood Park. I know
that this will be another wonderful event to be enjoyed by all.
For all the golfers and their friends, chairman Larry Parenti has
arranged the popular PSC annual Golf Tournament and Dinner on September
9. We look forward to another successful already-sold-out
event like last year. Saturday, September 14, is the date
for the PSC’s Toscana Night Dinner-Dance. Toscana Night will
be followed on Saturday, October 12 by the Columbus Day Italian-American
Heritage Celebration in Redwood City during the day and the Genovese
Night Dinner-Dance at the PSC in the evening. Plan to attend
these events, as they should be very elegant affairs, with great
food, decorations, and beautiful music. The chairpersons for these
latter events are Angelo Fanucchi, Terry Anderlini, and Ubaldo Siboldi,
respectively. A great time is promised for all who attend.
Please request your tickets early, before the events sell
out.
Please also note the Bruno Freschet Memorial Bocce Tournament on
September 22, to be held during the day at the new City of San Mateo
bocce courts at Beresford Park, followed by a family dinner at the
PSC in the evening. Even if you do not play bocce, please
honor us with your presence at the dinner in the evening.
I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. Ciao for now.
