September 23rd is back-to-school night! Peninsula Social Club is again offering a free Italian class for beginners every Monday from 7 to 9 PM. For more information please call the Club or Luisa Funghi at 650.737.0819.

The San Mateo Park and Recreation Dept. and the Peninsula Social Club have set up some future dates for instructional bocce clinics for new bocce players. The clinics will be held at the new Yates bocce courts located at Beresford Park, 28th Ave. and Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo. The clinics will be on Sept. 14th and 24th and Oct. 10th and 12th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. The sessions are mainly for beginners, but are also for anyone interested in improving their skill. Everyone is welcome.

This year's Genovese Night Dinner-Dance will be another great event! You will dance to the popular Steve Balich Band from Sebastopol. There will be special Homemade Ravioli and sauce. The event will be on Saturday, Oct. 12th. For reservations refer to the coupon in this issue.
