BRUNO FRESCHET MEMORIAL BOCCE TOURNAMENT

This
event will take place at the new bocce ball courts at Beresford Park,
located at 2720 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo.
Tournament will be open rules, round robin, four players per team;
at least one woman per team. Tournament is limited to 20 teams. Cash
prizes to be awarded to the first and second place teams. First and
second place player's names will be engraved on the perpetual trophy.
Entry fee will cover the bocce ball tournament and lunch that will
be served at the Peninsula Social Club.
The Memorial tournament will continue in the evening at the Peninsula
Social Club with a special dinner in remembrance of Bruno. Members,
their families and friends are invited to attend. The dinner will
be family style, with open seating. The price for the dinner is $15
for adults, six to eleven years old $7.50, children under six free.
Dinner starts at 7:00 PM. Dinner entrée will be breaded chicken cutlets
with all the trimmings. |

Thank
you to all the ladies who donated baked goods for the Festa Italiana
cake booth, benefiting PARCA. Also, thank you to all the ladies
who worked at the cake booth. Your help was very much appreciated.

FRIDAY LUNCHEON
|

The
Peninsula Social Club has a great menu each month for the luncheons.
The menu consists of salad, pasta, entrée, dessert and wine for only
$15 per person. So invite your friends and relatives for a very enjoyable
lunch and visit. We will be looking forward to seeing you at the next
luncheon! For reservations call the Club at 650.343.7981 and ask for
Gordon. Note: the luncheons will be on the third Friday of the month
in the future. |

REFUND POLICY

Members should be aware that the Club has a refund policy on all
Club events of at least 72 hours notice. This policy has been in
place for some time now, and is an effort to minimize the cost of
excess food quantities.
