FRIDAY LUNCHEON

The Peninsula Social Club has a great menu each month for the luncheons.
The menu consists of salad, pasta, entrée, dessert and wine for only
$15 per person. So invite your friends and relatives for a very enjoyable
lunch and visit. We will be looking forward to seeing you at the next
luncheon! For reservations call the Club at 650.343.7981 and ask for
Gordon. Note: the luncheons will be on the third Friday of the month
in the future.

BOCCE FOR BEGINNERS

The
San Mateo Park and Recreation Dept. and the Peninsula Social Club
have set up some future dates for instructional bocce clinics for
new bocce players. The clinics will be held at the new Yates bocce
courts located at Beresford Park, 28th Ave. and Alameda de las Pulgas,
San Mateo. The clinics will be on Sept. 14th and 24th and Oct. 10th
and 12th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. The sessions are mainly
for beginners, but are also for anyone interested in improving their
skill. Everyone is welcome. |
